Zazie studied Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester, after volunteering for a project supporting young refugees and asylum seekers, and becoming interested in global politics.  After graduating, she spent 2 years delivering the National Citizen Service programme in North West London, and volunteered as a mentor in her spare time. She went on to oversee the Work Experience programmes at a FE college in Brighton, before joining The Girls’ Network!

Since living in Amsterdam, Zazie is always on her bike, and cycled from London to Amsterdam last year (along a hill-free route!).

Her dream female mentor would be Frida Kahlo, because she rebelled against gender expectations in 1900s society, and refused to be defined by living with a long-term illness.
