We’re excited to announce that between Tuesday 30 November and Tuesday 7 December 2021 we’re taking part in our very first Big Give Christmas Challenge.

With huge thanks to, and support from, the Dulverton Trust, we are encouraging everyone to get involved and make a donation during this time to double their impact.

So, what’s this all about?

Every year The Big Give opens a festive fundraising period, giving charities such as ourselves a unique opportunity to raise more money to support us on our mission. Last year an incredible £20.1m was raised for charities across the country.

To support us in reaching our £20,000 target our friends at the Dulverton Trust are supporting us by match-funding what we raise and we’re really grateful to have them onboard for this exciting campaign.

Open for just seven days, this is a once-a-year opportunity to donate to The Girls’ Network and see the impact of your donation make a bigger difference!

Why make a donation?

In the past year more than 1,200 girls aged 14-19 from the least advantaged communities have benefited from our programme. We enhance equality of opportunity for girls by connecting them to a mentor and network of professional role models who are women.

We work to change the landscape, permanently, so that every young woman can have an unlimited future. By donating during the Big Give – and beyond – you can help secure that future.

What’s our impact?

After taking part in The Girls’ Network programme, 97% of girls reported a ‘significant increase’ in their belief that they will achieve great things in their lives. 98% feel more positive about their future and 96% say that their mentor has improved their confidence. Additionally, we’ve launched a reverse mentoring girl-led scheme, which has seen three of our ambassadors’ mentor senior women at the Metropolitan Police.

What we exist to do has a sustainable, far-reaching impact. And to help us continue to deliver this, we need your support! That’s where the Big Give Christmas Challenge comes in.
