It's not normally our style to try doing things by halves.  Until now.

On 10 October 2021 we're aiming to divide and conquer, with teams simultaneously taking part in runs in London and Manchester.  We have guaranteed places in both the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the Manchester Half Marathon, and after more than a year of virtual events or making up your own challenges, these two events bring together all that's best about organised outdoor running.  So if it's one of those things that is on the "maybe one day" list, signing up is half the battle.

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a runner's dream. The picturesque, flat course winds through four Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James’s Park and Green Park) and their autumn colours, and takes runners past some of the Capital’s most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Royal Albert Hall.

Also famous for its flat route and showcasing the best of Manchester, the Manchester Half Marathon is an ideal race for those looking for a personal best, or for new long distance runners wanting to ease into the sport.

We can't think of a better way to celebrate the 2021 International Day of The Girl the very next day by joining one of #thegirlsnet teams, and showing your support for the futures of girls across the country.

In these challenging times we want to reassure you that we are in close contact with the organisers for any changes and updates. The events are still set to go ahead but we will update all participants should there be any changes.
