Become a corporate partner Forget the gym, forget a language class, mentoring is the best return on investment you can get for an hour a month. Megan, corporate partner mentor in Portsmouth Our corporate partnerships can make a real difference to the lives of the girls and young women in our Network, whether they are mentees or ambassadors. We work with businesses of all sizes and across multiple sectors from well-known retailers and leading FMCG brands to financial services, the media, SMEs and public service providers. Each partnership is tailored to the individual company, brand and the impact they want to make, but ultimately they are aimed at securing unlimited futures for all young women. From corporate donations and gifts in kind, to event sponsorship, employee fundraising, payroll giving and cause related marketing, Charity of the Year partnerships and volunteering, there are many ways that companies can partner with us. We can support with fundraising ideas, suggest ways to engage with your colleagues and collaborate on innovative ideas with you! There are many ways that your support can benefit our mentees and Ambassadors - inspiring them to consider different careers, providing insights into new sectors or offering work placements or internships. We can also offer opportunities for your colleagues to volunteer as mentors, joining our community of amazing women who offer their time, skills and experience for at least one hour a month over 12 months. Our mentors are trained and supported to help their mentees to increase their confidence; develop their ambitions; have their voices heard and tackle any obstacles along the way. Why partner with us? Employee engagement and skills development: mentoring enables employees to develop skills in active listening, communication, problem solving and coaching, which are all key leadership attributes. As well as gaining access to online and in-person events to help build self-knowledge and expertise, mentors will be joining a unique community of professional peers. Taking part can encourage cross-departmental working and it’s a really rewarding experience too, which can all help with employee engagement, particularly when hybrid and remote working continue to impact on traditional team-building activities. Commitment to ED&I: as well as inspiring the next generation of girls and young women to develop their confidence and career aspirations, you can support the women in your workplace to build their professional capabilities, and in turn support their pathways into senior roles. Alignment with social and community investment: a partnership with The Girls’ Network offers a way to demonstrate your commitment to positive social change, directly benefiting young people in the local communities in which you operate. Our local and national partnerships offer a range of opportunities to work with us throughout the year. If you would like to discuss how your company might like to partner with us, please email [email protected] or call us on 07749 490 595. We would like to thank our dedicated corporate partners for helping us give every girl and young woman we work with the chance to be empowered and inspired to take the next steps in their future careers.
