Philanthropy, trusts and foundations

Trusts and Foundations play a vital role in the work of The Girls’ Network. Grants enable us to deliver strategic, high-impact programmes that can benefit girls both now and in the long term.

The generosity and commitment of our trust and foundation partners enables us to support over 1,200 girls from the least advantaged communities every year, ensuring that no girl's future is limited by their background, gender or parental income.
To ensure the best outcomes for our mentees, we have a responsibility to monitor, evaluate and learn from our own programme delivery, and the wider sector. We have a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Manager who works closely with our partners, so that they can see the impact of their support. We do this through:
  • Continuously monitoring the reach and activities of all programmes
  • An end of programme evaluation to demonstrate the impact of the programme on mentees, including qualitative and quantitative feedback from a range of stakeholders
  • The chance to observe programme activities first-hand, and to speak to delivery staff and beneficiaries
  • Acknowledgement of the partnership through our social media, annual reports and accounts, newsletters and other relevant communications

Whether you are currently a trustee or you are thinking of starting a Trust or Foundation, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Please email or call 07498 049579.

We are so grateful for the support of all our existing partners.

Individual gifts

Major gifts enable us to make strategic investments that enable us to develop our mentoring programme work with girls across the UK. As a major donor you will receive updates on the impact of your gift and invitations to our special events.

If you would like to discuss how you can support us with a gift please call our Major Gifts Manager on 07498 049579.
