Co-founder Becca Dean MBE returns as CEO We’re delighted to announce that Becca Dean MBE and co-founder of The Girls’ Network, has rejoined our charity as CEO. Over 11 years ago, Becca established The Girls’ Network after working as a teacher and witnessing the challenges many girls faced. She saw how many struggled with confidence and self-belief, lacked professional female role models, and had limited awareness of the career opportunities available to them. Determined to make a difference, she co-founded The Girls’ Network to ensure that no girl’s future would be limited by her gender, ethnicity, background, or parental income. Becca brings a wealth of experience to her role as CEO, including her work with Literacy Hubs, a charity she founded to empower young people to find their voices through creative projects such as publishing books, producing films, and creating radio shows. Her ability to inspire and lead transformative initiatives will guide The Girls’ Network into an exciting new chapter. Sue Rimmer OBE, Chair of The Girls’ Network, shared:"We are absolutely delighted to welcome Becca back to the charity which she co-founded. We look forward to working with her to deliver our vision that all girls can achieve their ambitions to be what they want to be, regardless of their background. Becca’s passion and commitment to The Girls’ Network and the work we do will be an inspiration to us all." Becca says:"The Girls’ Network has been a profound source of inspiration and purpose in my life. I am continually inspired by the incredible work taking place across the network, and I am honoured to guide us into this next chapter. I look forward to working with our brilliant team, trustees, mentors, funders, and partners to deepen our impact and expand our reach." We are excited about the future under Becca’s leadership and look forward to continuing our work to ensure every girl has the confidence, opportunities, and support to realise her potential.
