Childline - Childline offers free, confidential support for children and young people under 19 through 24/7 phone calls, online chat and email with trained counsellors. It also provides helpful information and tools on issues like bullying, mental health, abuse, relationships and staying safe.

Health for Teens - Aimed at young people aged 11–19, the platform offers bite-sized information and resources on physical and emotional topics such as healthy eating, body image, stress, relationships, puberty and sexuality. Engaging features like movie clips, audio snippets and quizzes make it interactive, and content can be easily shared with peers through social media.

The Mix - For young people under 25, this service offers mental health support for whatever you’re going through, including counselling, support groups and discussion boards. It also provides life skills tools, articles and podcasts covering topics such as sex and relationships, mental health, drugs and alcohol, your body, education, money, employment and lifestyle.

Kooth - Kooth provides personalised mental health support for young people through live text chat with trained counsellors, available every day of the year. It also offers self-help activities, informative articles, and tools like journaling and goal-setting to support wellbeing at your own pace.

Shore Space - A free, anonymous online support and information service for teenagers worried about sexual behaviours or related issues, healthy relationships, consent and safety. It also offers guidance on what to do in specific situations and a ‘safe topic’ library to help young people learn and get answers they might not feel comfortable asking friends or family.

Brook - Staying Safe Online - Provides young people with practical, easy-to-understand information on how to protect themselves online, covering issues like masculinity and misogyny, cyberbullying, sexting, healthy relationships and advice for online dating.

Report Remove  - A service that helps young people remove nude images from the internet if they are worried they have been shared. It offers a safe and confidential way to report images and get support to have them taken down.

PAPYRUS - Confidential suicide prevention support for young people under 35 through its HOPELINE247 on 0800 068 4141, available daily from 9am to midnight. The service also provides advice and guidance for parents, carers and professionals who are concerned about a young person’s mental health or safety.

Fake News and Misinformation - Childline’s Fake News and Misinformation page helps young people understand and spot misleading or false information online, giving tips on how to check what’s real and stay safe. It also offers advice on how misinformation can spread and how to avoid falling for or sharing it. 

Hub of Hope - The UK’s largest free searchable directory of mental health support services, bringing together local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS resources in one place so people can find the right help when they’re struggling with mental health, emotional distress, crisis or wellbeing concerns. It’s designed to guide anyone, individuals, families or carers, to practical support options near them via the website or app, no matter what they’re going through. 

ATK  -  The UK’s national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ young people aged 16–25 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness or living in a hostile environment because of their identity. It helps them find safe housing, specialised support, mentoring, and pathways into education, employment and wellbeing so they can thrive without having to choose between safety and being who they are.

Kids - Supports disabled children, young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their families by providing practical services, advocacy, advice and opportunities for growth from early years into adulthood. It works to create equal opportunities, amplify young people’s voices, and help them and their families thrive, play, learn and achieve their goals. 

Child Law Advice - A legal support service run by Coram Children’s Legal Centre that provides free, clear information and initial legal advice on child, family and education law issues for parents, carers and young people in England. It helps people understand their legal rights and options on matters like family breakdown, education disputes, child protection and court processes, and offers further support via email, webchat and phone if needed. 

Separated Child Foundation - A UK charity that supports refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people who have arrived in Britain without their parents, helping meet their emotional, social, practical and physical needs so they can begin to rebuild their lives safely and with dignity. It also runs awareness-raising and educational activities to encourage understanding and positive responses to the challenges these separated children face. 

Stop Hate UK - A charity working to challenge all forms of hate crime and discrimination by providing a free, independent 24/7 hate crime reporting and support service for anyone affected, regardless of age, identity, or background. It also delivers education, training, advocacy and community engagement to raise awareness, encourage reporting, support victims and help create a society free from hate, harassment and discrimination. 

Carers Trust - UK charity for unpaid carers dedicated to improving the lives of unpaid carers, people who look after family members or friends who are ill, disabled or have mental health or addiction challenges, by providing support, advice, resources and services through a network of local partner organisations. Its mission is to ensure that unpaid carers are recognised, valued and able to access the help they need to live fulfilling lives alongside their caring roles.
