Thank you for considering leaving a gift in your Will to The Girls' Network. We really appreciate you taking the time to consider supporting us in this way. If you would like more information or just need someone to speak to about how to leave a gift in your Will, then please get in touch with us on 07498 049579.

Making a Will and keeping it up to date will ensure that your wishes are followed and gives peace of mind that the people and causes that matter to you have been looked after in the way you choose. It is much easier for your family and friends to take care of your estate and be sure they’re acting on your wishes.

We would always recommend using a solicitor to write your Will to ensure all legal formalities are carried out correctly, and your Will is written and witnessed in a valid way.

Types of gift

  • A share of your estate (a “residuary gift”). After you have provided for your loved ones, you can leave a share of what remains to charity.
  • A cash gift (a “pecuniary gift”). This is when you leave an exact sum of money to us.
  • A specific gift such as property, antiques or shares.
  • A gift in trust. You can leave a gift for someone to use over a period of time. When the time has ended, the gift can be passed on to other recipients, such as a charity.
