Three of our brilliant ambassadors - Lily, Evie and Amy – were invited by Candid Broads Productions to attend a special screening of their latest release: The Contraception Fair. The film stars 2023 Screen Star of Tomorrow Ronke Adekoluejo alongside Derry Girls legend Kathy Kiera Clarke, and was shown at the vibrant Rich Mix Cinema in Shoreditch.

We were thrilled that some of our community could be part of this exciting opportunity. (And we’re hopeful that even more seats will be available for future events!)

The film itself is a witty and surreal exploration of contraception. It follows Camille, a young woman who wants to stop taking the pill, but instead finds herself inside the “Female Contraception Fair” - a high-energy world where each method of contraception competes for her attention and pressures her to make a choice.

It was a brilliant watch and, more importantly, a chance to spark real conversations about women’s health, choice, and representation on screen.

A huge thank you to Candid Broads for inviting our young women to be part of the experience and for creating space where diverse voices and stories are celebrated.
