Partner spotlight: AG Impact AG Impact is a female-founded communications and impact consultancy dedicated to helping businesses turn purpose into meaningful action. Through their work supporting organisations to communicate with clarity and create positive social, environmental and governance change, they are helping build a brighter and more responsible future for everyone. As a certified B Corp, AG Impact places purpose at the heart of everything they do. Their commitment to responsible business and building an impactful network that supports every stakeholder closely aligns with the mission of The Girls’ Network. We are proud to have partnered with AG Impact for a number of years, through mentoring, volunteering and opportunities for girls in our network to explore new career pathways. Below, the team shares why they chose to support The Girls’ Network and what the partnership has meant for them. Why has AG Impact chosen to support The Girls' Network? Our work is rooted in advancing equality and creating opportunities, so partnering with The Girls' Network was a natural fit. I first discovered TGN in 2021 and I have been a supporter ever since. Young girls need role models they can relate to, people who can help them “see what they can be” after they leave school. That’s why we embedded an annual volunteering commitment into every AG Impact team member’s objectives. It’s not a nice to have, it’s part of who we are and what we stand for. What have been the positive outcomes for AG Impact of partnering with The Girls' Network? All our team members have made some really special relationships with the girls we’ve mentored – being even a small part of their journey at such an influential point in their lives is incredibly rewarding. We have also really enjoyed getting to know the TGN team and supporting the organisation behind the scenes. Most importantly, this partnership has strengthened AG Impact’s commitment to championing women and girls. Each year we’re able to support more young women and amplify the positive change we want to see in the world. You hosted a workplace visit for a cohort of girls in the North West - what was the experience like? It was a brilliant day. We hosted 15 girls for the day at Alderley Park in Cheshire, a science and innovation park with more than 250 businesses. We explored the whole campus, visiting different companies, holding Q&As and giving them a behind-the-scenes look at what working in a communications and impact business is really like. They asked thoughtful questions, challenged our assumptions and shared their ideas about the future of work. The pizza lunch was definitely a highlight! They left us feeling inspired. Their professionalism, curiosity and confidence taught us just as much as we hoped to offer them. Experiences like this remind us why our partnership with The Girls’ Network matters: when young women are empowered, everyone benefits. Ambassadors Interview... We are incredibly grateful for their continued support and enthusiasm, and we look forward to seeing the future growth of our partnership and the incredible opportunities it will continue to create for the girls and young women in our network.
