Otiumberg is a highly successful jewellery brand co-founded by sisters Rosanna and Christie. An ethical, B Corp-certified company, Otiumberg is committed to responsible business practices and using their success to make a positive impact.

Alongside their business, the Otiumberg Giving Fund supports charities that empower women and girls - values that strongly align with our mission. The Fund works with two organisations: The Girls’ Network in the UK and the Pratthanadee Foundation in Thailand, close to the locations where Otiumberg runs its workshops.

Since October 2024, Otiumberg has partnered with The Girls’ Network, sharing our mission to connect girls with mentors, broaden horizons, and build confidence to help them achieve their full potential. Below, they share why they chose to partner with us and what the experience has meant for their team.

Why Otiumberg supports The Girls’ Network

We strongly believe in the power of opportunity, representation, and confidence - particularly for young women at the beginning of their careers. The Girls’ Network’s mission to connect girls with mentors aligns closely with our values as a female-founded brand.

Supporting The Girls’ Network felt like a natural fit for us. We’re passionate about helping young women feel empowered to take up space, ask questions, and see creative and commercial careers as accessible and achievable. The work The Girls’ Network does creates real, lasting impact, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting that journey.

Positive outcomes for Otiumberg

Partnering with The Girls’ Network has been incredibly rewarding for our team. It’s given us the opportunity to reflect on our own experiences, share knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to the development of young women who are curious, ambitious, and full of potential.

Creating opportunities

We chose to host an internship for The Girls’ Network Ambassadors because we wanted to offer real, hands-on exposure to a creative, small-business environment - something that can feel opaque from the outside. We know how valuable it can be to see how a brand operates day-to-day and to gain practical experience in a supportive setting.

The experience was extremely positive. The Ambassadors brought enthusiasm, curiosity, and fresh perspectives, and it was a pleasure to see their confidence grow over the course of the internship. We aimed to make the experience educational, welcoming, and empowering, and we hope it helped them feel more confident about their next steps and the possibilities available to them.

As well as supporting us financially - we are incredibly grateful to Otiumberg for the opportunities and experiences they have provided for the young women in our network such as:

Networking events

Mentors and Ambassadors joined Otiumberg for a morning of connection, conversation, and celebration to mark International Day of the Girl

Workplace visits

Ambassadors visited Otiumberg’s boutique, interviewed co-founders Christie and Rosanna for a video, and shared their inspirational stories.
